Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2, 2026. Version: 2026-05-02

1. What We Collect

We collect account information such as name, email address, password hash, store name, store URL, support messages, billing status, and legal acceptance records. When you use the product, we process store data such as inventory, products, card catalog mappings, prices, buylist data, transactions, orders, customers, staff users, settings, pages, custom domains, connected-provider configuration, and operational logs.

We also collect technical information such as IP address, device and browser details, authentication cookies, security events, error logs, and usage events needed to operate, protect, and improve MintLGS.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to create and secure accounts, provide dashboards, POS, storefronts, inventory tools, catalog and pricing features, billing, customer support, transactional emails, fraud prevention, backups, monitoring, debugging, and product improvement. We do not sell personal information.

3. Payments and Financial Data

Payment processing is handled by connected providers such as Stripe, Square, PayPal, or Clover. MintLGS stores the configuration and status needed to connect those services, but card numbers and similar payment credentials are handled by the payment processor. Sensitive integration credentials are protected with encryption controls.

4. Sharing and Service Providers

We share information with service providers only as needed to run the platform, including infrastructure, database, storage, email delivery, payment, monitoring, analytics, security, catalog, marketplace, and support providers. We may also disclose information if required by law, to prevent fraud or abuse, to protect the platform, or as part of a business transfer.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies for authentication, session management, security, and dashboard access. We do not enable optional marketing analytics cookies by default.

6. Retention

We keep information while your account is active and for a limited period afterward for backups, legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, dispute handling, and recovery. Some operational logs and backup copies may persist for a limited time after active records are deleted.

7. Security

We use safeguards such as HTTPS, password hashing, access controls, rate limits, audit logging, encrypted secrets, backups, and monitoring. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, and you are responsible for protecting your credentials and staff access.

8. Your Choices and Requests

You can update account and store information from the dashboard. You may request access, export, correction, or deletion of personal information by contacting us. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where required for legal, security, billing, fraud-prevention, or legitimate operational reasons.

9. Customer Data

If you use MintLGS to manage your customers, you are responsible for telling those customers how you collect and use their information and for honoring requests that apply to your store. MintLGS processes that customer data to provide services to you.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as the product, providers, or laws change. Material updates will be communicated by email, in-app notice, or another reasonable method.
